It is possible that Formidable Forms Pro cannot recognize the newest license key. In certain cases, the Formidable → Settings page displays blank. In this case, you won’t be able to update your license key within the WordPress admin.
When this happens, you can update the license key directly in the database via phpMyAdmin seeing as WordPress stores it in the wp_options table. So when the admin page is blank, you can update it manually.
However, you should use this method as a last resort. It allows you to fix a blocked or corrupted license without having to uninstall the plugin or lose data. Before anything, make sure to backup your database.
Once the license updated, the Formidable → Settings page will become accessible once again. You can then return to the Formidable admin page and update or replace the key from the WordPress interface.
